Skunk Shampoo Recipe

(This is not to wash your dirty skunk)

1 Bottle (32oz) hydrogen peroxide.

1/4 cup baking soda.

2 tspns GREEN liquid dish soap.

1qt (32oz) warm water (use the empty peroxide bottle).

2 Rubber gloves (ideally 1 right & 1 left).

Combine above ingredients (except the rubber gloves) in a bucket.

Wet the dog or child that was sprayed by the skunk.

Work the shampoo into the coat or hair of pet or child and allow it to set for 15-20 minutes.

Rinse.

Repeat.

Remember: Time is of the essence!! Have these ingredients on hand.

This shampoo will NOT totally eliminate the skunk odor (no shampoo does), it will knock down the pungent odor so your pet or child can sleep in the house.
